Norchevea's vision is to be a major manufacturer and supplier of starting materials and chemical intermediates for fine chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

Mission:

Norchevea's current mission is to supply to the global market high quality L-Quebrachitol in large quantities at competitive price.

Collaboration

In collaboration with the Malaysian Rubber Board (MRB), we are developing a cost-effective cleaner technology for the production of high quality L-Quebrachitol from natural rubber serum. The MRB and Norchevea will be jointly applying for a patent on this process.

Norchevea has also signed an agreement with Universiti Teknologi MARA that will provide consultancy services to Norchevea.

Norchevea has also an understanding with the Chemical Engineering Pilot Plant, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, for the use of pilot plant facilities at the university to produce kilogram quantities of L-Quebrachitol.

Key Management

Datuk Dr. Abdul Aziz S. A. Kadir is the Chairman of Norchevea. He is currently the Secretary-General of the International Rubber Research and Development Board. He was until 1999 the Director General of the Malaysian Rubber Board.

Dr. Nordin Abd Kadir Bakti is the CEO of Norchevea. He is a professional biochemical engineer. He has developed a patentable process of extracting L-Quebrachitol from natural rubber serum.
